Rustin M. Moore, Dean of the College of Veterinary MedicineBio and Topic
Dr. Moore is the 11th dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine. He has his DVM, summa cum laude and PhD from The Ohio State University. While at LSU, he assumed emergency leadership of a large-scale rescue effort of nearly 500 horses and other animals during the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. A national leader, he has served as president of the American Association of Veterinary Clinicians, on the board of directors of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, on the board of regents of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, and as an equine health advisory board member for the Ohio Department of Agriculture, among other positions.

Susan Wagner Professor, Ohio State College of Veterinary MedicineBio and Topics
Dr. Susan Wagner is a veterinary neurologist whose pioneering work acknowledges the spiritual interaction between people and animals. Dr. Wagner is co-author of Through A Dog’s Ear: Using Sound to Improve the Health and Behavior of Your Canine Companion. She founded the integrative medicine program at MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets and is adjunct faculty at The Ohio State University. In addition to being published in local and national magazines, Dr. Wagner has been interviewed on CBS Early Morning and The Today Show on NBC.
