We have the technology to provide a text-to-donate opportunity for your club to fundraise. This tool can be used virtually and in the future when we come together for in-person events. Currently, this technology is only available for alumni clubs.

How do you use Text to Donate?

• Text 41444 and type “ALUMNIGROUPS”
• You will receive a text back with a link
• Click the link
• In the link, fill out the information
• In the “I want to support my alumni club” dropdown, select your group
• Fill out contact and payment information
• Money will go to your club’s scholarship fund!

Why would our club use Text to Donate?

• A simple way for event attendees to donate to your scholarship
• Anyone with a smart device with texting can participate
• Money goes straight to your scholarship fund
• All donors receive a donation and tax credit for their gifts to your scholarship!

How to promote Text to Donate?

• During a virtual Zoom event, share the Text to Donate option during the event
• Use language shared below on your club’s social media, website, newsletters and emails
• In the future, this text-to-donate opportunity can be used at in-person game watches and other events to help with your fundraising!
