New Requirements and Programming funding changes for FY21

Due to budget cuts caused by COVID-19, we have had to make the following changes for FY21. It is our intent to revert to the previous amounts in FY22. The Scarlet Status incentive will be $1,500, Gray Status will be $750.  We are cutting back on reimbursable programming funds which will only be available for five total Category 1 Events at no more than $250.  Reimbursement for board meetings has been suspended for FY21.   Here are some additional updates:

  • When seeking reimbursement, the Post-Event documents MUST be submitted within 30 days of the event (in-person or virtual) or the reimbursement will not be honored.  If submitted after 30 days, the event will still count toward your category one requirements, but no reimbursement.  New requirements have also been added regarding the eligibility for reimbursable programming funds:
    • You must have a minimum of 20 attendees
    • Your invitation email or postcard must go through Advancement Communications to reach a broader audience
    • Events that have less than 20 or sent via your own platforms can still count toward your event categories, but will not be reimbursed
  • Civic Engagement is the newest event category that has been added for FY21.  More information will be available soon.
  • All requirements for Scarlet or Gray Status will remain.
    • Exception: a game watch will not be required due to COVID-19 restrictions
    • You must have 20 attendees at your event to request reimbursable programming funds
    • Your invitation email or postcard must go through Advancement Communications to reach a broader audience
