Option 1 CarmenZoom: – Free for OSU faculty, students and instructional staff
CarmenZoom is the academic audio and web conferencing option for Ohio Statefaculty, students and instructional staff only, with all the functionality of a Zoom pro account (see link below for details). It includes up to 300 participants in a meeting. Guest attendees of Zoom meetings do not need to be affiliated with Ohio State.
Alumni House Events will host your virtual board meeting via CarmenZoom. Request help here.
Option 2 Zoom
What you need to know about Zoom:
- Plans and pricing
- Due to increased demand, Zoom is not allowing users with Basic plans to have a dial-in-by-phone audio option. This means that every participant must be joining the Zoom meeting via computer, or by downloading the Zoom app on your tablet or phone.
- If any of your participants need to dial in by phone, the Zoom Pro account is highly recommended (or CarmenZoom, if applicable).
