Our Regional Engagement team and Ohio State’s Trademark & Licensing Department have developed a new process to allow alumni groups to use local vendors for merchandise!
Groups interested in using a local vendor must contact their Regional Engagement Officer or Regional Alumni Communication Manager first to being the process. Please be sure to share the vendor’s name, contact information and artwork. An one-time logo use agreement will be written up and sent back to the vendor for approval. Once approved, the artwork and agreement will be sent over to Trademark & Licensing for final approval.
Please note that the agreement is limited to the scope to the project. No further production or promotional uses are permitted. In addition, the vendor must agree to defend, indemnify and hold Ohio State and/or any of its related entities harmless against any and all claims, demands, causes of action and judgments arising out of the design, manufacture, or distribution, of the product.
Vendor and artwork approval is approximately 15 days.
